The Position

Kizik is looking for a Creative Strategy Manager for the growth marketing team! The successful candidate will learn the Kizik customer and infuse that into a wide range of content needs for advertising. This person is a constant social consumer and obsessed with all things online. They will understand how brands can connect with their audiences on social and beyond.
We’re looking for someone who can organize the media needs of a high-growth advertising team and keep the Kizik brand consistent across all advertising content. This full-time position reports to the Head of Acquisition.

Responsibilities

  •  A curious learner with a comprehension of social platforms (like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, etc.), their constantly changing algorithms, and the ways in which audiences are using or hacking them for advertising outcomes.
  • Work with the growth and creative teams to ideate short-form video cuts and static to be used as new ads on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Google, and many other channels.
  • Can distill multiple inputs, including qualitative and quantitative data, into cohesive strategies for campaigns and ad requests.
  • Skilled at directing content calendars for internal creatives and freelancers.
  • Ability to identify and execute the necessary strategic deliverables (e.g. creative briefs, new static ads, ad video cutdowns) based on acquisition needs.
  • Understands various work streams that go into developing strategy and can assign tasks accordingly.
  • Possesses a holistic understanding of day-to-day creative operations and their relation to individual teams.
  • Develop processes for infusing the Kizik brand into all new advertising.

Requirements

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Management and/or training experience
  • Experience with tools like Motion and Frame.io
  • Proficient in G-Suite applications and using docs, spreadsheets, and building or editing presentation slides
  • Experience using reporting tools (Google Analytics, Northbeam) and also pulling performance from social media platforms or reading performance reports
  • Fluency in full-funnel advertising campaigns
  • Knowledge of creative best practices for different ad formats
  • The ability to analyze campaign performance data points to derive actionable insights and strategies
  • Extensive experience with creative strategy, comms/connection planning, and social strategy; brand strategy experience is a plus
  • Ability to translate raw data and social media performance into actionable insights on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in building and presenting analytics reports to internal teams
  • Experience developing content plans, editorial calendars, and posting content across social media channels
